POWDER CONTAINMENT ENCLOSURES

Powder containment enclosures can be either ducted or re-circulating and can be manufactured to either standard or bespoke sizes.

The units are manufactured with an outer carcass from epoxy polyester powder coated zintec mild steel with a Trespa worksurface .

Where a higher level of cleanliness within the laboratory is required, the units are manufactured with the carcass and worksurface from 316 grade stainless steel.

The re-circulating version has a HEPA filter fitted above the soffit with fans re-circulating the air back into the laboratory.

The ducted version can have the HEPA filter located remotely in a plantroom area or fitted above the soffit, with the filter accessible from the laboratory for changing.

The filters can also be of the ‘Safe Change’ type fitted within a specialist filter housing designed to prevent the exposure of the operator to potentially hazardous or toxic contaminants during filter changeover.

As contaminated filters are removed from the housing they are sealed within a safe change bag.
